Launch of Online Application Form

We are happy to announce that we have recently launched our housing application form online. To access the online portal and apply for housing, please click here. This will direct you onto a new page where you can fill out an application for housing.

GCC Food Waste Collections

The Association has received correspondence from Glasgow City Council regarding food waste collections. Please find this information below.

GCC will resume food waste collections in the South area of the city from 15 February 2021.

A review of food waste bins has been undertaken in the South of the city and this has identified two specific issues in flatted properties, these are -

Bulk Services Tender

Following changes to the Glasgow City Council Bulk Uplift services, CDHA is now seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to provide a regular weekly uplift service to largely the backcourt areas of our stock. The contract will include some private lanes and open spaces.

Bulk Uplift Consultation

CDHA are still consulting on the changes to the bulk uplift service. GCC are proposing to change their bulk uplift service and will begin charging for the service early February 2021.

Changes to Services - January 2021

From Tuesday 5th January, mainland Scotland will move from Level 4 to a temporary lockdown. The Association’s close cleaning service will be suspended for the month of January and we will be carrying out emergency repairs and gas servicing only during current lockdown restrictions.

Winter Newsletter & Annual Performance Report

We will shortly be sending out our Winter 2020 Newsletter and Annual Performance Report 2019-20 to all tenants and owners whose properties we factor. This will mainly be going out by email if you have provided us with your email address. 

Changes to Repairs Service

From Friday 20th November 2020, the Association will be carrying out emergency repairs only as our local area falls into tier level 4. Therefore, routine repairs are currently suspended. Gas servicing will still continue as normal. We are hopeful that these restrictions will ease after the three-week period, however, this may be subject to change.
